Excellent appliance

Bought this 2 months ago. Both attractive and smooth functioning. Only quibble is that the feature window is not lighted, is not easy to read, needs a bright overhead light

cumbersome sensor cooking settings...

I keep a printout of the instructions by the unit so I don't have to scroll through the multiple levels of options. Want to cook a potato? Enter My Plate, #2, #7, #1. The express settings feature (#1 = 1 minute) is good, but the old fashioned Oatmeal that is supposed to cook in 2-and-a-half minutes takes three minutes. Reheat options? Three - plate of left-overs, pasta, or vegetables. I miss my old microwave settings for pizza, soup, casserole and more. Finally, it says it can steam rice, but my brown rice, in the recommended NordicWare bowl, does not cook using the sensor settings. (I use the time cooking of 20 minutes).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our only issue is with the misalignment of the microwave door. A service representative has been here twice. Although it is better, it is not perfect.

Great Unit

We bought this model to replace an older GE Profile microwave. We like this model better than the older one. This model easily fit into the former space with no installation issues. I think the exterior deign looks nicer than the older model. The exhaust fan is more powerful yet quieter. The dark interior does not show every splash. We are happy with this purchase.

I bought this to replace a GE Profiler microwave that was 13 years old. I matches all my other GE appliances. Works great, looks great. Quality product.
