THis replaces a speedcook oven we used for 14 YEARS!! iF YOU DONT HAVE ONE YOU NEED TO GET ONE , YOU WONT BE SORRY.

2nd 240 volt Advantium! First one 14 yrs 9 users!

This is our 2nd 220 volt Advantium. They have been a great addition to our kitchen cooking options. We LOVE and use daily the speed cook options!
That said, the new unit is much lighter that the one purchased in 2000 and our fear is the second one will not last the 14 years the first one did. Especially since the second unit required some warranty covered repairs in the first couple of weeks of ownership. But, it has worked great since the repairs

A "can't live without it" appliance

This is the second Advantium I have had, replaced the first one after 12 years of use.
This one has the added option of convection cooking as well as microwave and Speedcook.
Speedcook is my favorite option, I have a less expensive microwave that I use for that purpose. Speedcook does casseroles or meatloaf in 30ish minutes, baked potatoes (just like oven baked in just a few minutes), etc. with no preheating required. It is great for frozen pizza, "tube" biscuits, homemade biscuits, shortbread, pizza, etc. It reheats Doggie Bag foods including French fries, chicken strips, shrimp, etc. as well as frozen strips in a snap, bringing back the crispness. Great for making a fast gingerbread or cornbread or Jiffy size cake, done in about 15 minutes. Use the convection option for regular size cakes, saves heating the big oven in the range.
The appliance has a wide selection of programmed recipe cooking times. The controls are very easy to use and understand. The cookbook that comes with it is a useful reference for cooking times for my own recipes, just by finding a similar recipe and using the time and power settings listed.
I was really lost for the few days between losing the old one and having the new one installed.
This is the perfect appliance for a couple or family.

Great Microwave
