Replaced a 20 yr old GE. New size is great!

The new unit replaced a 20 year old GE. We knew the quality was there but were concerned about changing the look of our over the range area with the larger footprint microwave. Not to worry: The advantages of larger interior size, more power and the sensor features are worth getting used to the small protrusion beyond the built in cabinets.

Excellent microwave worth EVERY PENNY! !

The microwave we had came with out home we purchased last year, which meant that it was from 1998!!, needless to say that things have vastly improved since that unit was made. Our last 2 appliances have been GE & HAVE BEEN GREAT & the trend had continued with our new microwave. I love that all the features actually WORK,even though or unit was older I have plenty of friends and family with newer ONES - WILL NOT MENTION ANY BRANDS- but half of the time all the FANCY options and cook settings barely if even work at all. Our new GE does not have this issue with any of the features we have, my favorite so far is the REHEAT option- we have 2 kids so it's great for leftovers at dinner or just a quick snack, this isn't a revolutionary option it's just that the sensor in THE GE actually works great. The same holds true for both of the defrost options- no revolution here, unless you call the options working EVERY SINGLE TIME REVOLUTIONARY. I am also a fan of the STEAM option as it works great also, and it may seem small but the vent fan has low-med-high-& BOOST WHICH KICKS IT UP A NOTCH and really helps get all the smoke and yucky stuff away from the cook top when in use. All in all this has been a fabulous purchase, fun & easy to use, and an all around GREAT MICROWAVE!

We've had this for about a month now. With three kiddo's in the house it gets used a lot. The interior the best of all I've owned, it's very easy to keep clean

You get what you pay for! I would never buy any other brand for the house! GE is reliable and worth every penny! There is no substitute for perfection!
