Great looking and saves space.

Having the microwave off the counter and act as the hood vent at the same time is a great use of space. It's looks great and vents well. There is plent of room in the microwave. Hindsight: I might have gone for the convection oven/microwave but that is only because I am so pleased with this one. One complaint: fingerprints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When it works the machine is good. Control panel is shorting out. Also exhaust fan turns on by itself without any heat from below.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Quality works as expected

This unit replaced an older GE model, and so far (two months in) I haven't been disappointed. We were lucky to find this particular color (bisque) on clearance at Sears, and it's an exact match to our other appliances and kitchen decor, while its dimensions are just right for the cabinets above the stove. It's easy enough to clean and appears to be solidly built. The extra 200W of power compared to the previous model doesn't by itself explain why the new one heats everything about twice as quickly. One-touch shortcuts are nice. The ability to turn the turn-table on/off is a plus. The display/clock turns off after a few minutes, which not only conserves power but also spares me yet another reminder than I am running late. One particularly ingenious feature? The ability to run the microwave count-down simultaneously with the timer function. Once done microwaving, it goes right back to the timer. Obvious enough, but a nice surprise nevertheless... Nice job GE!

I like this oven and like it's design except for the fact that the turntable comes off track much too often and is not easy for these old hands to get back on it's track.
I would have preferred something more simple and basic but this is what it is and I stick to simple heating and thawing.
This was a replacement for a GE Profile (?) microwave that lasted 16 years and I was very happy with.

Do not like the features n this microwave. Only has about half as my old one. Don't like the fact that you have to press 1 or 2 to get what you want.
