Cooks well, couple of flaws

I have had Model PVM1870SM3SS for about four years. It looks nice and it runs and cooks well, However, after the warrantee period, the front vent door motor malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Also, the black plastic cap on the bottom of the vent (inside the microwave) has cracked, with a couple of little pieces falling off. We don't have children, so I don't think it has been misused.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was installed a few weeks ago and I am very happy with it. I like the sensor cooking-it has cooked vegetables perfectly. FYI...there is an automatic vent that comes on after cooking something taking approx. 20 minutes. It helps cool the microwave down-at first I didn't know this would happen, but now that I'm used to it, I know it is okay.

I actually cook complete meals in my microwave not just reheating food. This is my second GE microwave unit and first under counter unit, the first counter top unit is now in my furnace room and is still working.

Exceeded My Expectations

I was looking at a wide variety of microwaves for various manufacturers. I initially selected the GE entry-level series, but chose to go with GE Profile Series (PVM9195SFSS) at the last minute due to a rebate. I received better appliance with minimal increase in cost. This appliance and all GE Profile appliances I own, is of excellent quality and is the best value for the cost.
