Great microwave

I bought this unit a few weeks ago. It was highly rated by Consumer Reports. It performs much better than my old unit: it heats food much quicker. I must share that I would much prefer to have the full numerical keypad (like my old GE unit) instead of the dial and cryptic menus. Very disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light Bulb has been replaced twice in 6 months.

The product works well. Except for the light bulb issue everything is perfect. I don't understand how bulbs that are advertised to last 1.4 years have needed to be replaced twice already in 6 months. We barely use the light at all. Frustrating.

GE Profile Microwave

My wife and I bought this microwave 6 months ago and we are completely satisfied. It is easy to use and clean. We have two small, active children so we have to prepare and reheat meals most week nights. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

While it worked, it was great. But it stopped working after only 14 months - just outside of the warranty period. I was pretty disappointed.

So Far - So Good

Bought this OTR microwave to replace no longer reliable one that came with the house. Installation went well but took longer than expected. Would like GE to have a video of how to install online. So far the microwave has performed very well but would like a to have a straight up button for sensor reheat rather than figuring out reheating through the dial.

Our New Microwave

This microwave replaced another GE that just stopped working. So far we like it very much, but are still getting used to the numerous features available. I like the fact that it is very quiet compared to our old one.
