Meets all our cooking needs

We've found the ovens to be accurate and consistent, the range burners have more than sufficient BTU and the control panel easy to use. Convection does a great job as well. Have had this one for almost three years now and we're very happy with it.

I really like and enjoy the upper oven because of its convenient height. Its just right for baking, roasting and broiling!!

Nice to have two ovens!

It's nice to have two ovens in a small form factor. I wish they made a "professional" version of this range that had a stainless top and telescoping/ball bearing shelves. Keep in mind though that if you have trouble bending over than perhaps this is not a good decision for you as the larger of the two ovens sits pretty low. I also would recommend buying an extended warranty as the control panel heats up pretty good while self cleaning. That can't be good...and it isn't, as I have had to have one replaced after two years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this range in March 2015. Loved this range initially even though there were a few initial setbacks. The biggest being that the grates are spaced too far apart for small skillets. This didn’t seem like a big deal, but I use an 8-inch skillet almost daily and it shouldn’t be a task to balance the skillet before cooking, but it is. The second thing was that the convection oven stopped working after 6 months. Since I mainly used the top oven which is not the convection oven, I kept putting off to call in a warranty repair, and you can guess when I finally called, it was out of warranty. I know that it is my fault that the repair wasn’t done within the warranty period, but an oven shouldn’t fail after 6-months, much less after only being used for the second time. As stated previously, I used the top oven since it’s more convenient. The third item was the middle burner. This burner is rated at 8000 BTUs, but it is a warmer at best especially with the grill that comes with the stove. These three items are not show stoppers and so you can continue to use the stove and oven with these known setbacks. However, the last straw was when the top oven would fail to ignite after 3.5 years. I had installed combustible gas detectors next to the oven and clothes dryer years ago as a precaution. I thought the first time was a fluke when the gas alarm went off since I was able to turn on the oven after resetting it. However, after multiple occurrences, I am thankful that I installed the alarms. Once I walked out of the room waiting for the oven to heat up when I heard the alarm going off. I realized that this could have been a serious situation without the alarms. In any case, my teenage kids sometimes bake so I opted to replace this oven for safety’s sake. It’s possible I received a lemon of a range but my washer/dryer are also LG products and the washer has also had multiple issues. It is a nice looking range but I cannot recommend this product.

HARD TO CLEAN COOKING TOP

I have had this range for years now. And the top by the burners are impossible to get clean. I have tried to clean the top as soon as I can after cooking but there is a build up of who knows what that will not clean off. I have tried several cleaners, powders, counter top cleaners, and even electric tooth brush after I put Bar Keepers Friend on the mess. And the metal plates that goes over the burners are also a mess. The center burner that is for grilling only works if I use a match to light all the openings. I have taking it apart, scrubbed it and put it together. Still only has flame in around the area of the igniter. So much for cleaning it up with just soap and water like the owners manual says.
As for the two front larger burners I do not know why they would design them with the flame just around the outer edge. Leave the middle section open open and worthless. Should have a flame in the center also so not just the outer edge of the pan gets hot.

The worst Stove ever

This stove is the worst. I bought this stove brand new and the top and bottom ovens have both been repaired in fact the bottom has been repaired twice the first time right after the 1 year warranty was up. I am now looking for the part to start the ovens with no success. The knobs fell off within the first year of purchase, and now the display screen has melted. Who uses plastic on items that get HOT. This stove is now 8 years old, and looks a mess considering I'm not that big of a cook, I should not be experiencing all these issues.

Stove knobs are a piece of crap

The material they use on them peels and wrinkles. Very poor quality, very unhappy. It will be the 3rd time to replace them.
