Outstanding with a99

This portable monitor is a thing of beauty with the a99! By itself the a99 doesn't do magnification for focusing. With this monitor you can do a 1:1 view that allows for precise fine tuning of focus. Best used with a tripod and DSLR rig. Also gives you volume control with headphone jack. Get it, it's worth it and puts your a99 videos in a whole different league!
What's great about it: Larger screen for video & focusing
What's not so great: Requires rig when audio adapter also used
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unethical Practices

No power included in the box.
Hidden inside the lid is a "Recommended Accessories" list.
That I have listed here:
AC-PW10AM AC Adaptor @ $99.99
or, A battery listed below
NP-FM500H battery @ $69.99
NP-QM71D battery @ $99.99
NP-QM91D battery @ $149.99
and a
BC-TRM battery charger @ $ 59.99
Charger is needed because the CLM-V55 Monitor will not recharge any battery.
This product needs power to work.
Without power it is an incomplete purchase.
Why does
Sony's new business practice dishonor its name?
What's great about it: french flag?
What's not so great: Needs some type of power source
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
