Replacement for 40 year old original

We wanted a brand new induction, convection, etc…but home warranty would only cover original, built in so looks just like the old one. It’s fine. Looks good, works good, no frills. Thank you GE for making practically the same model for 40 + years!

Temperature is always off and has done this from the day I bought it. I have no other choice in ovens because of the size of the space I have. Seriously think of taking the tile out and moving a cabinet to get a different oven. Don’t buy this I can’t bake in this at all unless you like black stuff.

I bought this range to replace the old 27" drop-in GE one that was there. Even though I purchased the same one, the installer had to cut out one of the "side" supports. I thought that might need to be done. However, what I never thought would happen was the range being 2" taller, so he also had to cut out the drawer underneath the opening. I paid 3x what a stand alone stove would cost, so it would fit in the existing opening. What a waste of money! When I replace the other range (it's a duplex), I will not be purchasing another one of these!

I hate the sensitivity temp burners. It was advertised as 30 inches and is 27 so does not fit my original space. Had to have a new countertop to get it to fit. EXPENSIVE.

This range arrived on time and was delivered and installed in great condition. It fit the space in the counter left by the old GE range just right. All features work well and it is even more attractive than we had anticipated. We are happy with this range!
