this appliance does not last long

I have no choice but to buy this range unless I do my kitchen over this is my 3rd one 2nd one in 6 years I find they don't last very long. I bought this one about 3 months ago the light went out within 3 weeks and it takes a long time to heat up. Again I have no choice my kitchen calls for 27inch drop range
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It 's only size that fits in my counter space.

Frustrated at the price for what you get. We had to buy at 27" drop in due to our kitchen configuration, and since GE continues to be the only manufacturer of 27" drop-ins, this is what we bought. Works fine, heats up relatively fast, but it has your basic functions. Bought it less than a year ago and the light bulb has already burnt out for no apparent reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love our new GE range. The features are all that we could have wanted. Self-cleaning, easy to use and cooks food exactly as indicate by the control features. We have had no issues with this product. It looks great in our kitchen and we would buy it again.
