Beautiful and strong ventahood!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a 17 year old GE of similar design, but this new Kitchen Aid is much better and so easy to use! The design is gorgeous and the halogen lights have two levels of brightness and make my kitchen shine like new. The fan has four speeds and does a fantastic job of drawing up the air. I love the way this vent hood seems to almost disappear and then makes a stunningly beautiful appearance and goes right to work. Highly recommend this product!!

I love the fact that you don't really know it is there until you need to use it. Sound/noise level is reasonable. Lighting is good. Understand, you will lose the cabinet above your range to the mechanical parts so don't plan in advance to store anything there. You won't. Regardless, love the style and functionality.

We love our slide-out KitchenAid fan system. We believe this is one kitchen appliance that should be almost invisible, so we were so pleased to find this product on line when we were remodeling our kitchen. Even our high-end local appliance store had not yet seen it. What you can see is pretty, quiet,easy to operate and to clean.

Elegant Slim Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had it installed just a few weeks ago (8/2018). First of all, the design is just fantastic looking. It gives an elegant look to our kitchen layout.
The hood vent has enough air suction power (400 cfm). Note that the bulk of the vent design is hidden into the upper cabinet but that is just fine with us. Template cutouts are provided and you will definitely need two person to install the vent.

I love the sleek design of this hood! A funnel-like hood would have been over powering in our small kitchen. This sleek hood slides out and does the job. Lighting and fan settings are easy to set. The filter does need cleaning frequently, but thanks to the design, it's a breeze to wash it and put it back in place. I highly recommend this product.

Cons: the glass slide out cover needs frequent cleaning.

I was looking for an elegant, quiet, yet powerful hood and this fits the bill 100%. Just have to be height aware, if I was more petite, I would need a remote to operate the fan speeds since the hood must be part way down to adjust it. The instructions were terrible. Had you cutting what you don't need and the screws were all wrong let alone trying to understand how to assemble the brackets that hold the vent up. Yes, the instructions were were many times and rechecked on the net and website. Very difficult and confusing. But the product once in place is a work of art!
