Purchased another brand comparably priced on 8/1/14 and had serviceman here twice within 3 weeks. Still had problems with it and returned it for even exchange with the LG. Straight out of the truck on a 90 degree day, the LG cooled very rapidly and was even beginning to make ice within 3 hours. Shelves and bins are studier, it's lit better, very quiet, well featured, and looks great. My only disappointment is the ice maker doesn't produce as much daily as my old fridge (R.I.P.) but I'll not call this a complaint. I do construction work and fill a small cooler every work day plus it gets used by others while I'm at work. If I didn't fill the cooler daily, we'd never run out.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 500 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter (5231JA2002A), I have set up to receive auto-ship every 6 months which makes life easier and we always have the cleanest drinking water and ice. Love our LG cafe door refrigerator we have had for almost 5 years and the replacement filters keep us healthier.

Have had no trouble with this refrigerator. Icemaker works without clogging, Temps on both frezzer & refrigerator stay consistant! Love the look and performance.

Ice maker will not spit the ice out!

Ice bin is full, ice is not stuck together, ice maker turns, and turns, and turns, and turns.....then 1 cube spits out. After 5 minutes of turning today I almost had 2 cubes. The first one melted while it waited for its ice buddies to join it - unfortunately it was not a happy day for me or my diet coke. Finally I gave up, poured out the melted ice cube and reached inside to get my ice with my hands.

I have owned this fridge for a week. It is beautiful. Unfortunately beauty does not quench my thirst.

wire shelf malfunction

fridge has wire self that comes off its bracket when you put meat on it. it has made a hole in fridge siding. poor quality.......defective self.
