We had to purchase a new fridge after buying a new house. We like the space. It even has an alarm feature to let you know the door has been left open. Only two changes I would like... separate buttons for ice & water and larger ice tray. When the whole family is home for an entire day, it doesn't seem to always keep up.

Love my LG Side by Side

I love my new LG Side by Side. The 27 cubic foot is the perfect size. I love the drawers that slide out. It keeps food the perfect temperature. Love the ice in the door feature and that the crushed ice makes the perfect crushed ice! I have learned to hold my glass as close to the top of the dispenser to avoid it spilling and missing the glass, but that is a little adjustment. I would like it to make ice a little quicker than it does. I just have to hit the ice button once a day. But, then it is summer and we are using a lot more ice. All in all I LOVE it.

This unit is great, oversized opening in door for larger cups and pitchers. Temp controls on the front panel easy to read and use. Physical appearance pleasing to the eye

I researched a lot of consumer reviews and LG always came out to be the most consistent. The ten year warranty on the new style linear compressor was most impressive. The noise reduction system is also a plus. this refer has sharp looks, great efficiency and was well worth the money. I know its crazy to say but I am looking forward to replacing other appliances with LG products as soon as I need too.

I own an LG TV and love it. When I needed to purchase a new refrigerator I was drawn to LG because of the look and size. The delivery was prompt and the setup was easy. The settings are very easy to understand and the icemaker does an excellant job. I would recommend this produc to anyone looking for a refrigerator. I am now saving to buy an LG stover and over the stove microwave. LG makes the best products I have ever owned.

Great Features . . But!

This is overall a very nicely designed appliance. The Ice maker could have been designed a bit more compactly so as to create additional space on the upper freezer shelf. Most importantly, the LED lights that illuminate the inside of the appliance are terrible. In this day and age of an ageing population, it is almost impossible to read any labels of items in the refrigerator.
Come on LG would a higher intensity LED be so terrible.
