Ice maker design

The ice bin is held by a rail on each side. The rail has one screw holding it in. The back of the rail uses a tiny plastic clip to keep it up.
The bucket/bin has also broken. The auger has detached from the plastic piece with a hole that brings in the ice. The metal piece attached to the plastic is also poorly designed as it easily detaches.
The water inlet tube that fills the ice cube tray.. it looks like leftover plastic they grabbed from a trash pile. The tube easily malforms by simply touching it.
The icemaker takes up a ton of space and isn’t currently usable. Such a shame. My next fridge will be bought from a company that focuses more on appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Always was out of room and the shelves in the freezer never stayed in. The ice maker finally stopped working and it wasn’t covered by any warranty so we purchased the LG 4 door French style that I had originally wanted.
