Very good fridge

We purchased this about three months ago and it is running well, and very quiet. The in-door water and ice quality is excellent. Freezer side is a little tight, but the cold side is exactly what we need.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

This side by side is better than our old one

We get plenty of ice into our glass, unlike our old fridge that dispensed a cube at a time and that with a grinding noise.
The lights are very nice. Husband doesn't like the display feature for ice and water but my son and I got it figured out fast, just push the button once for ice, again for water.
It runs so quiet, which is a plus over our old side by side, but it seems to run way too often for my peace of mind. Our electric bill did go down so it must be like the owners manual says, it runs more often but is more energy efficient .
The space is more than I need right now but when the holidays come I'll be thanking myself for buying a size bigger then my old fridge.

LOVE THIS FRIDGE

We bought this to replace a 13 yr old one which came with house, after having the old one repaired twice, we looked all models and this fridge came out tops for us. Plenty of space, water filter would be easy to change. the door shelves are nice strong plastic, the glass shelves in fridge are good and easy to clean, also the freezer side is spacious, all round a quality product at the right price. Very pleased with fridge.

Don't like the selection feature for ice and water. Prefer separate outlets. Water not particularly cold.

Fantastic Refrig

We got this refrigerator after the one we had decided to say I have had it after about 20 years, and I did alot of looking online and decided to get this one because the price was right and it fit the area where the old one was. It makes ice very well and the settings are all very easy to get to and changing the water filter is very easy althoug you have to turn the water to it off before you change it. It also is a larger frig then the one we had which is very helpful.

When I first got this refrigerator I loved it. About 30 days after buying it I was filling a glass with some wonderful ice water and the dispenser just quit. I took me another month to get a service person out here to look at it. He was here a couple of days ago and found out that the main board is fried. The part has been ordered and should be put in in 2 more weeks. This, obviously, has not been the best experience.
That said, I love this refrigerator! The rest of the unit works great. I love the 3 drawers and the amount of space in this unit. All the shelves are adjustable, the filter is easy to replace when needed, although the filters are very expensive. The unit cools and freezes as well as you could want.
I wish the ice maker had a little bit larger capacity but that is a minor issue and the only real gripe I have about it when it other than the main board issue.
I love the LED lighting. it is nice and bright and seems to give better coverage than the old appliance lights. The control panel is clear and easy to use.
The Ice and water dispenser works great for both cubes and crushed ice as well as filtered water, when it worked.
All in all I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a simple refrigerator/freezer with dispenser. The quality and features are good and even though I have had an issue with it I'm sure it's rare and it is being taken care of, all be it slowly. I would still recommend this to anyone that it would be a fit for.

Nice Fridge

I have had this for about 3 months now. I returned a GE unit that was way too noisy. The LG unit is much quieter than the GE. They both make the same kinds of compressor noise but the LG is about 40% quieter. The LED lighting is nice but could be brighter. The freezer only has 1 light (I think) but could use 2. The fridge size has 4 lights but could use 6. The water is nice and cool. Not ice cold and not warm. I have heard of people having trouble with the icemaker but mine works great. I do not use it heavily though. a digital temp display would be nice but it works good as is.
