I love my Blendtec blender. It is almost 20 years old!! I wasn't sure which way to go when ordering a replacement. I was worried this would not fit, but it fit perfectly!

Smell is disgusting

My jar works fine, but the sour smell is putrid and astonishing. I wash it right away after ever single blend and it still stinks! I've tried bleach, vinegar and baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and basic soap, nothing gets rid of the nauseous smell. I have to replace the jar every year or so because it stinks so bad and the smell works its way into the blend. I've even cleaned the base and no luck.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Jars wear out very fast and are overpriced. Metal gera on bottom of jar strips over time and fails
