Super happy with this jar. The lid is much better than my older jar’s version and the plastic ring piece that cracked on the bottom of my old jar is not even part of this new jar. Overall just a better jar and great quality!

I've had the same Blendtec for many years now. The motor is powerful and that blade still pulverizes ice and kale for my green shakes. I have replaced the jar because eventually the rubber gasket gets old, but Blendtec's new design fixed that! It's really, really easy to clean, too, so it looks good sitting out on my counter. My husband makes a shake every single day and has been for years with Blendtec's fourside jar.

I ordered a second square four sided jar because I use my Blendtec blender so often. Love the convenience of having two jars. I use it to make daily smoothie for breakfast and also for sauces. Li e that it is dishwasher safe, too!

I have owned a Blendtec for 10 years and have replaced the carafe twice. Not because of any deficiency but just constant use. I make a smoothie everyday often twice a day. Also I use it to blend special recipes to support my joy of cooking. Considering all it does and the quality supports my opinion that it is a Perfect Blender.

I have a couple of jars that wore out, meaning the bearings were going bad. You can't replace the bearings on these. I bought this a few weeks ago and it's louder and noisier than previous jars when they were new. I was concerned it was putting too much stress on the base/motor. I called and they listened over the phone and said it would take about 100 blends to get quieter. It's still too noisy and if it ruins the motor I'll be mad. IMO if the newer jars have bearings that are too tight, then they should spin them 100 times at the factory so MY blender doesn't have to wear itself out during this "break in" period.

I've used Blendtec blenders for the past 10 years or so, and while I always liked the fourside jar, I was unhappy with both the container material and the bearings of the blade. This new container fixes both problems. The material is a clear and doesn't seem as vulnerable to etching as the original containers. The blade assembly and bearings are amazing -- quiet, sturdy, and apparently so well designed the jar comes with a 3-year warranty, or longer if you're buying it as part of a blender purchase. This is the last thing that might have kept me from recommending the Blendtec blender to everyone. I'm completely satisfied with the way it works and looks.

My Blendtec is four years old and recently the o ring seal decided to start throwing bits of rubber into my smoothies! Pretty disappointing considering the cost of the blender (and the fact I had to buy a whole new jar instead of repairing the old one) but oh well, worth it because I drink smoothies about 5 times a week and nothing blends better than a Blendtec. It WILL blend!
