I have the wild side jar, but it's not easy to see the quantity. With the four side jar, it's easy to eyeball the amounts and it seems to blend better. Something about the square sides on the four side jar. It seems to make my smoothies blend more richer and with more texture.

I love BlendTec but this jar...

After an accident with the main jar that came with the blender, I had to repurchase this jar to replace it. I grounded coffee beans and the plastic on the jar got all foggy and looks dirty no matter how much I wash this thing, I've tried everything and it won't just clear up. It's also getting worse. I wonder if its the quality of the jar because the first jar never did that, or on the previous machine that I owned back home. Also, something is going on with the lid, it won't fit properly to cover my jar and it gives a fight to get in there.

I’ve used my Blendtec for 8 years and 1400+ uses and something wasn’t right and it started leaking. I contacted customer service who assisted me with troubleshooting and all I needed was a new four sided jar. The price was great and it shipped very quickly. In another 8 years when I need a new one, Blendtec it will be!!

I replaced my original jar that was extremely loud. I believe the blade had wore out. If the replacement jar and blender continue to hold up I'll be very satisfied. The response time to my order was good. The price for replacement jar seems high.

Have had my BT mixer for 10 years. Only recently had to replace jar for the 2nd time. This new one is as good as can be. BT is an amazing mixer (ours has over 3,300 cycles). No competition for this company.
