Great features and quiet

Bought as a replacement for similar model. Only disappointed that the mounting plate and holes didn't match existing, but that was expected. Features are just what we need. Much quieter than previous model.

Poor Vent Design

This microwave was vented through vertical cabinet. The vent connector was poorly designed and located. The damper was paper thin, bent to the touch, became dis-lodged, could never get to attach properly after that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GOOD REPLACEMENT

AFTER TEN YEARS OUR GE MICROWAVE FINALLY STOPPED WORKING. WE ENJOYED THIS MICROWAVE BUT WERE SADDENED TO FIND OUT THAT GE NO LONGER MADE THIS PARTICULAR MICROWAVE. WE WERE OVERJOYED TO FIND A SIMILAR GE MICROWAVE AND WE WERE ABLE TO INSTALL IT USING MOST OF THE HARDWARE AND HOLES FROM THE OLD MICROWAVE.

Nice item for the money

It works well ,the light is nice and bright,when on high,The push buttons are not very responsive ,You have to give them a good push ,and the door is a little on hard side to open and close, I know im nit pickin ! but it is what it is ,all in all ,a good oven with plenty of power ,

I recently purchased a G.E. stove from a friend. My microwave I had above my old stove quit working (it was 20 years old), so I wanted to purchase a matching G.E. microwave and this one was a perfect match and just he right size.
