Handle Breaks Eventually

Granted, my microwave is probably 6 - 7 years old, but I know of several other people who have had this problem -- the handle breaks at the bottom and eventually at the top as well. Not sure how often I should be replacing my microwave -- maybe this is pretty normal?

Broke after 6 years of use, need to replace

We have had our microwave since May 2008. The top left metal door bracket broke and since it was welded on, not screwed on, it is not replaceable. Have to buy a brand new microwave.

Could use a better touchpad

The touchpad is the only weak point on this microwave. Instead of being able to just "touch" in your keypad entries, you have to actually press the buttons. Not that big of a deal, but it's not the same as our previous GE microwave.

Great Microwave

Now that we have had time to get use to it, it is really a nice replacement for our other microwave. We use it for mostly re-heating leftovers. It is quiet. The only thing I have found is the keypad is a little insensitive to the touch and not a show stopper.

Love the convenience over the cooktop!

I did a small kitchen update, and the GE Microwave over the cooktop was one of the new additions...we love the convenience! It has a lot of cooking options, and it is very accurate. The prompts are easy to follow, also! The only downside is the door latch is pretty loud, but most of them are the same.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has all the features I need. Door springs are a little tight/stiff when opening and closing the door, and if not for that minor thing, I would have given this unit 5 stars. Overall,I am still very happy with the purchase.
