Versatile cooking appliance

We purchased our advantium along with a wall oven. The two look great together! I love the options in cooking with the Advantium. We use the speed cooker and the microwave the most. The convection oven comes in handy at Thanksgiving for additional cooking space.

When you shut the door,the clock turns off to save energy.
How much energy does a clock use?

Advantium Oven

After being sold on this oven at a trade show, I bought it. Took 5 months to deliver. Failed oven sensor twice in first year. Technician visited 5 times to replace all circuit boards and sensors. Worked for 2 months and failed again. Too much money for low quality piece of junk. DO NOT BUY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Advantium 240 wall oven

I have an Advantium wall oven (240 V) purchased in 1999 after seeing it at a Home Show in Portland Oregon. Since I don't have a double oven, it comes in very handy and fills the 2nd oven gap for me. I use it frequently on a daily basis and during the holiday season it works over time. I have recommended it to a number of friends.
Unfortunately, some of the paint on the inside of the door is starting to flake off. Other than that, it has been working trouble free for quite a few years. I find it a real time saver and it is easy to keep clean. Wouldn't want to live without it.

Wonderful Oven/Microwave for small families.

We have had an advantium for 13 years and recently replaced it. The new Advantium 240 oven works even better than our old one. It has features such as convection and a 16 inch tray rather than the 13 inch for the old one. Recommend it highly, particularly for small families or as second oven.

Fantastic Oven

This oven is so easy to use. Great "Speed Cook" options which eliminates preheating oven and shortens cooking times. This oven is also a convection oven, microwave, and a warming oven.

PHENOMENAL APPLIANCE!

We purchased our Advantium wall oven a year or so after they came out. I use this oven at least 5 times a week, some times every day. There is only my husband and myself in our house, so I use it to bake things like HUGE baking potatoes (in 14 minutes) and a 6-7 lb turkey breast during the holidays (in less than 45 minutes), and it is browned perfectly and the juiciest white meat ever!
We later purchased a smaller "above range" Advantium and use it as our primary microwave as well as for speed cooking.
We are an "all G.E. appliance" house because their appliances last forever! We still have 2 of the original side-by-side refrigerators with the Entertainment Center, allowing access to one inside door shelf. They were purchased in 1986, and both are STILL functioning perfectly, 1 in our garage for additional freezer capacity, and also for things like soda & extra groceries that are used frequently, and the other in our basement.
G.E.'s products are the BEST, and we think that the G.E. Advantium Ovens are the finest kitchen appliances on the market! Thank you, G.E.!

Won't ever go back to regular oven!

I bought this 4 years ago and so it amazes me. Cooks, bakes, roasts beautifully at lightening speed. Best investment for working mom. Family dinners are ready within 20 min. I recommend this for anyone building new home. Requires wiring for oven, not microwave (more powerful ). I also have double oven that I use only for casseroles during holidays. Really, this is all you need! No need to preheat, doesn't heat up the entire kitchen and doesn't waste energy. Cresent rolls in 4 min total! Fish in 12, whole chicken about 20. Not rubbery or dry like microwave only cooking.
