Really like this range after 6 months

It took 5+ years for the manufacturers to start putting the smaller oven on top which is what you will use 90% of the time, so I finally invested.
Pro's: - Design: very attractive & well designed asthetic - small oven on top - used most often and very convienient. - Intiuitive controls for the ovens, with a lot of flexibility - Power burners and continuous grates are excellent. - Chimes when oven is fully heated, which is nice.
Cons - - Oven racks are a little flimsy and ill fitting. A full Le Cruset dutch oven makes the rack bow in the center of the bottom oven. This is why I rated quality as I did. - taking heavy items out of the bottom oven is a little challenging as you are squatting all the way to the floor and lifting - while keeping the dog away ;)
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

LDG 3015st double oven freestanding gas range

I love the convenience of the double oven especially the top one since I bake a lot of rolls and cookies & it doesn't heat up the kitchen.
The only drawback is with the gas range above. My burner caps (disks that fit over the burner head) are so discolored. I have the stainless steel model and the range parts are all black enamel. Very unsightly looking for a range that is only 4 months old. I would like to order another set but next to impossible to find out where you can purchase them. It's a shame they do not have a more resilient finish.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, the smaller baking oven

I love the look of this appliance. The small oven is the one most often used. Preheats fast. Love the chime. When the oven is cooling down, there is an audible noise that tells me something inside the oven has warped with the heat. Don't know what it is, possibly the broiler burner shield. As for the burners, there is more flame at the location of the ignitor, thus uneven heat. I'm particular when it comes to cleaning. The grates do great in the dishwasher, though I don't know how long the racks will last with their weight. I was putting the caps and rings in a pan of soapy water until I noticed the slightest rub against another would scratch the caps. Now I wash and dry each separately by hand. The brushed aluminum (or whatever it is) rings stain and no matter how much I scrub, I can't get the discoloration off. I guess that's my most unfavorable feature, then again, I said I was particular about cleanliness and burned on grease. I find as long as I clean the entire top with warm soapy water after each frying episode, nothing burns on, but the rings still stain. As to the knobs, I was able to remove one, but no matter how hard I pull, I can't get the others off to wash them. This stove exhausts a much higher heat directly on the top of the stove, which I don't really like. Finally, the trim, in back, just above the burners and below the control panel sticks out like a lip and allows fluid, grease, or whatever, to seep into the very narrow space. This is definitely a design goof in my opinion.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Solid range used for 6 months now

We have had this range since New Year's Eve, and it is used a lot. I have had all 4 main burners going with both ovens at the same time. It cleans well. Although the burners do occasinally clog after a cleaning, they clear up quickly as they dry.
The middle burner is not what I hoped it would be, but still used a few times a week. I just heat my large griddle (the one with it is a joke) on two of the regular burners for a few minutes, then move to the center one for actual cooking. I am 6'4" and love the uppper oven. Sure, I have to kneel to use the lower, but I did that with my old oven anyhow.
I have worked in professional kitchens and this stove is of course not as high of BTU's as those, but the quality feels like Vulcan. A great product. One star lost because of the middle burner that was a buying point for me. I have adapted, but it should be 3" longer and higher BTU's.

Double oven worth it?

We have had this double over for about a month. I went back and forth before purchasing it --- while I love the look and the ease of use (being able to heat up a small single shelf over for small things) I'm not sold after using it. First, due to the layout, you have no under oven storage. Also, the 2nd drawer is so low it's almost difficult to get in and out of safely. Also, you can only broil in the small oven -- which depending on what you are cooking may not work. Also, it would be GREATLY improved if LG still offered a griddle for the middle burner. The model I looked at in the store had one, but this one does not. CHECK before you buy -- something about the BTU's on the burners for different models? We got a great price, but I'm second guessing the $$ we could have saved vs. the actual need and ease of use for some of the features.
Pros: Style/Design

This stove not only rocks in the cooking/baking department, it looks fantastic! The oven preheats before I'm ready and the super burner boils water in no time. It's everything a great stove should be.

I bought this oven 3 years ago and my control panel has melted just in time for the holidays. I like to cook and I thought that is what an ovens intended use was, apparently this oven was just meant to be pretty.
