Don't buy it

The beeper alrm on this unit is both excessively loud and obnoxious. After you item is heated, not only does it beep to let you know, but it will continue to beep every 5 seconds until the end of time. I'm constantly having my phone calls and discussions interrupted by the incessant noise. This may be a good design of you have a bad memory or something, but I'm ready to chuck it the dumpster and start over. No way to shut it off through programming, totally rediculous design!

this beeping every 10 seconds after finish of cycle is horrible. one beep or two would be sufficent. this constant beeping untill you get back to it is very anoying. if i could turn it not to work i would be happy.. better yet a hammer might do.

Keypad problems

I've owned this microwave for 3 months and all of a sudden the keypad does not work. It would be easier to say the buttons on the keypad that do work. Most do not and the most important one for me the number 2 which is vital in defrosting meat does not work. I have not called Frigidaire yet, however intend to do so today. Before this happened I admit I loved this microwave but if this is the kind of quality I can expect from Frigidaire I do not think I want to purchase anymore Electrolux products.

The 1.6Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave has been very dependable for us . The features seem to be very good and understandable for us. We would recommend it for some one that has a smaller space to put it in. We have been very happy with it.

Good machine

This microwave is the replacement for another one, of the same model, that died after six months, while still under warranty. I hope, and expect, that this machine will last longer.
Aside from the possible reliability question, the machine works well. I have only four complaints, all minor:
- The 5-beep end of cycle signal repeats too frequently.
- The door release button sticks occasionally.
- The clock gains time, maybe a minute a week.
- The clock doesn't change between AM and PM until 1:00.

It works great. When I had to get a replacement for my old one frigidaire stepped up and got on in 10 days! The only thing that is annoying is the the timer beep at the end of cooking time. It keeps beeping every 10 sec until you open the door and when you re on the phone its bothersome.

Works great, powerful, looks good, plastic piece under microwave plate broke within first month. Also, the AM and PM function frequently misreads no matter how many times we reset it.
