A decent, solid unit

Bought this several months ago. I liked the simple, straight-ahead stainless steel look. The unit has performed well, and I would have assigned 4 stars but for a few issues. One, the control panel is not that easy to see in dim light. I would have preferred to see a backlight of some kind on the keypad. Two, the unit emitted a strange, sort of dirty-socks smell from the motor that has only just faded recently, after months of use. Third, the control panel has frozen up a few times. The only thing to do was to pull and reinsert the plug, which of course also necessitated resetting the clock. This should not happen. Nonetheless, I'm mostly satisfied with the unit.

The rotating tray will rattle sometimes

I wanted a micro that had the warning beep that repeats after the cycle is complete to remind me to take the food out. This unit was one of very few that still offer that. For the most part it has been working properly except maybe once a month it will rattle as the tray rotates. My previous micro lasted 26+ years, I will be surprised to see this one last that long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave seems to heat very well but the turn table makes noise like it could use a lubricant from time to time.
