I do not like that I can't close the door and then enter the time to cook and the power level. I have to enter those first and then close the door. Only then can I press start. I think this is much better suited to people have limited intelligence that have to have a microwave oven think for them!

I bought this microwave last April and it has already quit working. It will not heat and the only way you can shut it off is to either open the door or pull the plug. the key pad will not respond.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too bad it's discontinued. Purchased to replace a similar GE model for work lunch room. Previous model also discontinued but this was a close match… lasted for 7 years of intensive daily use. Hoping to get as much from this one.

This product has burned popcorn on popcorn setting and seems to over cook many items. Very difficult to get right cooking time.
