I've had 3 different microwaves in the past 5 years and none of them lasted more than a year or two. I had a GE that lasted over 10 years, so I went back to the brand in hopes of getting another with some longevity. I've only had this GE for several months but so far it works well, is easy to use and operates quietly. I would recommend this model to friends. It is affordable, looks nice, fit the small space required in this kitchen and is easy to use. It has an interior light which I find important for working with it.
