Hopefully, 2nd time is the charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this model back in late February (reviewed on 3/1/13), as a replacement for our 6 year old microwave that suddenly died.
We had it for 36 days and all was great. On the 37th day I went to heat up a cup of water for some tea and when I took the cup out, the water was cold. I tried a coupe of the other heating options but nothing worked.
Lights worked, turntable worked, sounded like it was working but no heat.
GE customer service was very helpful and would have helped me get a replacement, but luckily, the store where I purchased exchanged it for me.
I disappointed because it had been working so well.
I hope this replacement hangs on.

THE MICROWAVE IS A GOOD SIZE FOR 2 PEOPLE. THE AUTO-DEFROST IS A GREAT FEATURE AS WELL AS THE REHEAT. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE PROGRAMS FOR THE REHEAT WERE LISTED ON THE FRONT OR SIDE PANEL. I FIND MYSELF USING THE SAME ONE--WHEN I AM SURE THERE IS A BETTER OPTION

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent microwave. The only problem is the finish. Shows fingerprints really bad, have to clean the front every time I use it to keep the fingerprint smudges off.

Seems to have good fan which makes it louder but I hope this means it won't over heat and blow in the first year like my last microwave. From the reviews this was the best for the price.
