Back corners leave gap for things to fall behind?

I just had this installed on my kitchen and the back design of this new oven is BAD! The back corners are not 90 degrees leaving a large gap leaving an unfinished look. Is there a fix for this? Is this not meant to skid into a flat space? design issue?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New slide-in range

I needed to replace a 16 year old slide-in range. After reading reviews from a well respected consumer magazine as well as on-line reviews, I decided that GE would be my best bet for reliability. I have only used the stovetop so far, and it works beautifully. I will say that this slide in is MUCH deeper then my previous one. The installer had to remove the 3-4 inch piece of granite that was next to the back wall, and then push this range all the way in so it wouldn't stick out in to the kitchen.

Beautiful Slide in range

Bought this about 1 month ago. Easy to install very nice appearance. Only issue I had was turning on the oven the first time there was a strong odor and it set off my fire alarms. I looked in the instruction manual and found that this is normal and to rectify the situation you should do a self clean. I did the self clean for the recommended 3 hours (had to open the windows and doors because the alarm went off again) and the odor subsided.
To make sure I did another 3 hour self clean the next day and there was no odor and the alarms did not go off. So I suggest that before using the oven, do the self cleaning. This is the reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 star rating.

I purchased this about a month ago and I love it. The knobs are metal and heavy, and there is very little plastic about this range, which is very important in this type of product. I also like that the entire area around the burners is open for easy cleaning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this because a part was not available for my old slide-in which I was disappointed in because my old unit looked nearly brand new. Make products that can be repaired even after many years.

Great stove overall

Love the stove so far, easy to clean and one of the burners is powerful enough to boil water for pasta quickly or stir-fry. The oven I only tried it once so far and did a great job. I still need to test it with baked goods before I say anything more about it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because for the price it should have either a fifth burner or one more powerful burner. Also I am very pleased with how the stove looks, so design wise I would give it 5 stars.

Love the look and the large burner space. All pilots light well & it heats up so quickly. I would take this appliance any day over an electric range top.
