Mediocre Performance but Looks Good

Microwave time cook is by 15 second increment
Reduced power cooking simply turns magnetron on/off. There are better alternatives that are more accurate
Oven was away on warranty repairs for one month because the convection oven actual temp was nearly 75 degrees from setpoint. Repair center replaced four defective parts. Performance still mediocre.

My frustrating microwave

This model is a complete failure in my new kitchen. When one uses the microwave for three minutes or so to cook a vegatable in a sealed container, the inside cavity walls and door are dripping with water. Would love to try the convection oven but figured with the moisture issue, nothing would bake!! It will be the first new appliance to replace with another maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave/convection oven works great for us. Fairly easy to program and use. Like the stainless interior, better than porcelain surfaces to clean. Also like the exhaust fan, it works very well.

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as part of a kitchen upgrade. It was a bit of a pain to install (just myself doing it) because it is a bit heavy but in the end it was securely mounted to the wall above my range.
I like using the know to make the cooking selection but you can also enter cooking time and power in the traditional method using the keypad. I have tried the convection cooking and it worked well but it's a minor inconveneince to have to put the racks in it to use the convection cook feature.
I am very pleased with the stainless steel interior. It's a snap to clean and is very durable.
In summary, this unit looks great, works really well and is, in my opinion, a great unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't buy this product

I've had this model for over a year over my stove. I did not realize how much moisture comes out of the top vent (as opposed to a front vent). It not only ruined the finish on my cabinet, but when I realized it, I looked inside my cabinet door and there was mildew inside the cabinet. DO NOT BUY ANY UNIT THAT VENTS OUT THE TOP OF THE APPLIANCE!

Good points and bad points

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 4 months of minimal use, the turntable began to growl and jerked as it turned. Called repair and they have to replace the turntable motor. We were also cautioned about the dial saying there had been quite a few service calls because the threading had stripped. We were cautioned not to turn the dial too fast. We miss not having a number touchpad to program in the time needed. We purchased the convection feature so we could use the microwave as a warming oven when we have company. Otherwise we would have purchased a regular microwave with the touchpad.
