Gorgeous and Functional!!

This Microwave/Convection Oven is such an attractive appliance! Both inside and out. I bought this item a while back and I've read several reviews saying that people are having trouble using it, but I'm not sure what they're talking about. I'm not the brightest bulb in the batch and I think it's very easy to use. Of course, I read the manual and I also realize that this Microwave isn't going to be as easy to operate as my last one, that lasted for 12 years (GE as well).
But I'm sure that in 12 more years or so I'll think that my next one isn't as easy to operate as this one. To sum things up: I love this microwave! It is gorgeous and functional!!

Love this microwave combo

I have now had my microwave for 1 year. I LOVE all the features. However, the small plastic hooks that hold the racks in place are very fragile. Mine has been used very carefully - and two of my hooks have broken. I'm currently trying to find out how to get them replaced. They broke in less than one year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lousy Product!

This microwave worked for about 6 months. Then it would not turn on after you hit the express button, unless the door was slammed closed. The service man ordered all the electronics and a different service man returned to install the parts that did not fix the problem(he was not very good at his job!) and the microwave did not work at all after he left! Also he managed to turn on the stove top with a plastic bag on top of it and he says I smell something, he managed to melt plastic all over the glass top elements on my stove and scratch the black on the stove top! So far they have only replaced the black stovetop an they say they do not have access to to glass top! So they send out the original tech and he finds that one connector is lose, but you still have to push hard on the door to make it come on. So he orders a new door assembly and about 2 or 3 weeks later he comes back and installs the door. It worked fine for about two months and now it is back to the same old problem of having to push hard on the door to get it to run! I complained so much to GE Consumer Relations that they sent me a letter of commitment to replace the microwave if I had any more problems! So now I am not sure that I want ANY GE product in my home! It appears that the model that I bought is no longer being produced and I can see why. So how do I know that I will not have the same problem with next GE microwave?

Great features and performance

Been using since Nov. 2013. Have not used the convection feature at this time. Microwaves great very easy to use. Love the roomy inside.

Stopped working after 18 months

I bought this microwave 18 months back. Yesterday, it just stopped working!!! I did not expect such poor quality from a company like GE...

Convection has failed twice

Purchased this about 5 years ago and had to call for warranty support within the first year. The replaced parts have now failed again and the convection oven feature no longer works.

Very happy with this purchase, although not too happy that my last GE Profile Microwave only lasted 7 years...but they say that is average now.
