Looks great and has great features

I can't see the controls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave looks great, it seems to work well and I haven't had time to play yet with its convection capabilities. But I have to confess that I can't see the control panel without reading glasses. The letters are small and low-contrast; I thought they'd be internally illuminated, but they're not. We just renovated the kitchen and, even with all kinds of new downlighting, it's one big grey blob. It's really annoying, and I'm not that old!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave/convection oven is eye catching to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised to find extra features that I didn't expect. GE was smart to add five extra buttons to this product in later versions. The extra buttons are "Options, Turn table on/off, Clock am/pm, Timer, Vent Fan, and Surface light". They don't appear in the picture of the control panel in the user guide. You will need to see one in person to see the actual button layout. My oven was just installed two days ago, so I can't comment past it warms my coffee well and convection baked sweet potatoes nicely. I will enter another review in another couple of months or when my experience with it is noteworthy.

Nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall after 2 weeks of use I like the product; the downside is the buttons for choosing levels, etc is very dark and a bit difficult to see. Would be nice if they were brighter or had option to be backlit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this convection/microwave oven! It's simple to use and performs great. I use it exclusively for convection cooking. On hot days, its wonderful to have an oven that can bake or roast and doesn't heat up the kitchen.

We have always used the GE profile series appliances and have been completely satisified. In fact the microwave and range we just replaced in our renovation will be given to our daughter for hopefully many more years service.
