Bad Panel

I have owned this TV for less than 2 years when I had issues which negan suddenly. There is a whistling sound and also horizontal lines running up the screen with darkening to the overall color. A certified repair person has deemed the panel bad, which needs to be replaced. The costs of repair is as much as the original price we spent on the Tv purchase. Because the warrantly is only a year on all parts, unlike many other manufacturers, who guarentee the panel for 2 years, we now are repsonsible for the total cost of replacement. I am very disappointed in Samsung's lack to stand behind their product given the short life of the TV.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this model and stared having problems a year into purchase. TV started turning on and off by itself when in use. It got to the point that when I turned it on with remote it would try to start but immediately would proceed to turned off.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
