don't spend the extra money on all the high price units--this unit works great and drys just as good. We spent twice this much last time and the unit broke every year and it cost more to fix than these cost.

Product dries well

Some negatives: I, personally, don't care for the pull down door (find it difficult, at 67, to reach in to get clothes towards the back with the door blocking my way). I would have also liked the opening to be larger so that sheets could be put in/taken out more easily. There is also something metal hanging down in the middle of the opening (probably the door hook) that clothes catch on when moving them in an out. I wish the "done" buzzer sounded a little longer and louder so I could hear it when I am on another floor, and that the wrinkle toss after the wash was a little more often. On the plus side, however, the product dries clothes very fast and efficiently so I would recommend and buy it again, but most likely with a door that opened sideways.

Overall efficient and easy to use

ONe difficulty is lack of easy access to remove clothing. The depth of the unit is large and therefore difficult to reach items at the back when the drying cycle is complete,

Whirlpool never lets you down

For at least the last 50 years, we have always purchased Whirlpool washers and dryers. So when I need a new one....why argue with success? They have always had stellar performance.

much better than our maytag, replaced drum 3 times in 6 years one day quit working , so we bought a whirlpool so far so good seams to dry alot faster and quititer
