Perfectly solid dryer at a reasonable price

We always use the eco settings on this drying and find that most of the time it is more than enough to take care of our largest loads. Jeans can still be damp, and some items might also be slightly damp at waist seams, but that is rare and only on the larger loads. It is quiet, energy efficient and does and excellent job. No bells and whistles on this, but a simple straight forward design and it works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are very pleased with our purchase. This product was a Consumer Report favorite. The quality of drying, the drying time and the efficiency is as promised. When a washer is needed, The mate to the dryer will be purchased.

The bright tumble drum with the light makes it easy for tossing my clothes into as if I know they will end up refreshed and dry to my satisfaction and they do!

Our new Whirlpool dryer is very easy to use. The features are easy to understand and adapt to each dryer load. I love the end of cycle buzzer which helps me know when I need to return to the laundry room to continue my tasks. I'm still learning about the energy saving features. I would recoment this product to my friends.

Not what I expected of a Whirlpool dryer

Clothes do not dry on first go-round. Controls can be hard to decipher as to what is needed for a particular load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good dryer without all the bells and whistles

This dryer is a good mid-range unit, without all the bells and whistles that, in my opinion, are unnecessary. It gets things dry and it has the options that I use. My only complaint is that I still have to run the jeans through some extra dry time after the auto-dry cycle is done, because the pockets are still damp.

When we needed to replace our existing washer and dryer we did a LOT of research. Based on this research we selected the Whirlpool washer and dryer. All the reviews we saw had complimentary comments. Keep up the good work Whirlpool!
