Whirlpoor Dryer # WED4900XW replaces a 36-year-old model from the corporate family. Its large drum allows more space and better air flow between moist fabrics. The design of its down-swinging, front-loading door offers a horizontal shelf for convenient loading and unloading fabric articles. The dryer knob settings are easy to read and convenient to set.

A solid basic dryer

My old dryer finally broke and I wanted one without a lot of doodads. My laundry needs are simple , so this model was perfect. One feature I particularly look for is a door opens downward. This provides a surface for folding the clothes as they come out.

dryer looks almost exactly the same as the 10 year old Whirpool that it replaced. It also has the same features. Otherwise it is a great dryer.

The dryer is really fair in use for its price. It does have an Eco setting, but it is basic in its settings for it. The dryer mirrors old dryer in design and setup, part of the reason I bought, as well as it was cheaper. Would have never thought that washers and dryers would get as expensive as they are. Found one I really wanted just priced out of my price range.

Awesome dryer

This dryer was a gift as my old one was just not working well. I love the fact that the door opens down instead of out. I have never had a new dryer so this thing was pretty awesome. I love the fact that there is a light inside as the inside is a cave I mean it's huge. I love the green features which means I use less energy. So far there are no cons. I love my new dryer

I love that when drying my clothes, they are about through when the washer is through washing! I don't have to wait ALL DAY to get clothes washed, dried and folded. through in one day. I recommend this dryer to everyone who wants more time in their day to get other things done! I also like thewrinkle free cycle at end of drying, I am not all ways in back of house to hear when through, but it gets my attention with the buzzer every few Mintues, I like that reminder
