We especially like the energy saver mode, and the wrinkle guard for when we are doing permanent press. Dress clothes come out looking great.

I bought this unit used because im not wealthy enough to buy new. This dryer has dried an army of clothes and im now buying drum rollers to fix it. Easy to work on and I recommend it highly. 6 yrs old now.

I have to warm up the drier in order to really dry up medium to somewhat heavy loads. Therefore, it is not as good as the previous Whirlpool dryer I had for many years. The previous one was more efficient and everything was dry when finished. This one, when I have two sets of towels of large bath towel, medium face towel and wash cloth, I have to recycle them at the Heavy Duty cycle to get them dry.

Just Good Stuff

We wanted a traditional dryer to replace our aging one. The door, AccuDry and price sold us. The reason we chose Whirlpool was because of past experience with their products. Many of our friends, relatives and neighbors that have owned Whirlpool washers and dryers have had them for many years, with few problems. When it's time, many replace their aging machines with Whirlpools. Now how can you argue with that. The washer is next to be replaced but that won't be for a while. It's a Whirlpool. I guess they don't make much money on us.

I purchased this Whirpool dryer because my last dryer was a Whirpool and it was over 30 years old when it quit. It was always reliable; the only repair made in all of that time was the door latch that wore out about three years ago. Other dryers may cost less but I would only consider a Whirpool!

Finally a dryer that dries clothes in the time it says it will. I love thewrinkle guard which gives me extra time to finish up what I am doing. It's quiet and easy access lint trap. I would recommend Whirlpool over Maytag anytime! Can't wait to get rid of my current front load washer!
