This is one of the best dryers, it has "Eco" features that are great, less dry time, less wrinkles, conserving, energy, saving money, performance is outstanding. The design team did a great job with features, conserving energy, which saves money. Less time drying gets the chore done with ease. One of the best dryers that I have owned. Great design by the Whirlpool team.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of Money!

Bought this dryer and the matching washer the summer of 07 after losing everything in a house fire.5yrs later, and the dryer totally died!!! Soooooo ticked!!!! Cost alot of money and definately should expect it to last longer than 5 years!!!!! Never will buy another Whirlpool product again!!

Like the energy saver feature and the wrinkle saver. Sometimes I'm busy when the clothes finishes and it tumbles every five minutes and sounds an alarm.

I like that the door drops down. There aren't too many models that have drop down doors. The dryer works fine, but is kind of noisy. Good value for the price.

Good dryer for the price

The new dryer replaced and existing whirlpool dryer with the same features that we had for 12 years. The old one had to be repaired once, for whirlpool tried to replace the roller with a hard plastic glide which the repair man told me was not a good idea. The new one is very nice and does a good job of drying our clothes and not over heating them. Would not recommend this unit if you are worried about noise levels in its placement. Ours is in the basement away from us. My biggest problem with this dryer is that it appears that they are trying to cut costs and have cheapened the finish on the exterior. The first time I set something on it, it scratched the surface right down to the metal. Our 12 year old whirlpool washer is right next to it and you can easily see the difference in the exterior coating. The dryer appears to have a simple painted surface and where we put the lint catcher, the paint is already worn off.
