Received Buffalo drive DOA

This was the first Buffalo drive I have ever owned. I have a segate, Toshiba, & western digital drive that work great. I was interested in the low price of the Buffalo drive so I bought one. It was dead when it arrived so I contacted Tech support at Buffalo. They asked me why I tried to use it if it was bad. Duh how would I know it was bad if I didn't try it first. Well several phone calls and 2 weeks later and still no replacement drive. I would not recommend a Buffalo drive to anyone. Buy a different brand the first time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buffalo Ministation Stealth USB 2.0 portable hard drive. Comes with software for added functionality beyond just portable storage. In testing, Turbocopy shortened copy times by approximately 20%. The drive feels very sturdy and durable. The software that comes with the drive is easy to use and allows for ramdrive and backup functions. Highly recommended for someone looking for more than just storage.
Pros: offline backup, data transportation
I would recommend this to a friend!
