Better than Protector

I have the iPad 2 and I purchased the leather protector along with it. I wasn't pleased with it very much when it came to using it as a stand. My iPad would slide and eventually fall flat, not without me catching it first. My friend gave me the Targus cover and stand for Mother's Day. I am surprised to say, this is one of the best gifts I have received. I was really considering getting something other than what I had. It's a little bulkier but it's a great protector and does an awesome job when I'm watching a movie.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This case saved my iPad2

I put my iPad2 on the roof of my car, (ok, yes, stupid) and drove off on a busy road...the iPad, snug in its Targus Versavu case, went flying and crashed. The case took all the beating....my iPad was totally protected! Thank you, Targus!!

Best ipad 2 case to date!

We saw this case from another person and first we were attracted by the way the apple logo looks surrounded for it´s round frame.
This case is very good looking, the ipad snaps into a plastic protector that also allows to rotate the ipad to put it horizontal or vertical and in 3 different angles. Very creative. With blue stitching it has a very nice finish and it´s strong and looks sturdy.
If you´re looking for some case to protect you new ipad 2 don´t look anywhere else. This is the best case i´ve ever seen to date.
I just wish there were several colors to choose.

Add some Velcro

So add a few (3) pieces of Velcro tape to the case (in the grove) and edge of iPad and make a good case a great case. Easy to do. Cheap modification. The iPad stays securely in place - even when held with one hand. Actually a must do if you iPad supine etc

Overall, I think product is a good case. Sturdy with flexible uses because of the 360 turn. For the price, I would like to see the unit stay in the front grooves of the base better. It is okay for movie watching, but not touch screen. Perhaps add a holder for the stylus.
Pros: sturdy, rotation is great, soft interior
Cons: no holder for a stylus, grooves not properly sized need better angle to s, tends to slip out of the grooves, pricey

I love this product and it works well with my apple iPad keyboard too! It 's almost like it was made for this product! The keyboard sits perfectly on the stand or when I just have the stand on my lap and the keyboard elsewhere. I have looked at several and I thnk this is by far the best!!!!

Great Cover and Stand!

I rarely write reviews however I have a story about this particular product that must be shared...
I was leaving my cousins house when I realized someone was parked behind me, so I carelessly left my Ipad 2 on the hood of my car and went inside to ask someone to move, by the time I got back I was in a hurry to leave and jumped in the car and drove off. Half way down the road and at about 30 MPH I saw something fly off the hood of my car and bounce down the street, I feared the worst and went back to pick up my IPad from the middle of the road fully expecting it to be shattered and broken. Unbelievably my Ipad was fine (just a small scrape on the top that wasn't covered), and the case itself had a few minor nicks in the leather. Great Product EXTREMELY Durable, i cant imagine any other cover would have survived or saved my IPad...Thanks Targus for a phenomenal case

Needs to be more rigid

I am only disappointed because the iPad doesn't stay in the padded slots and the leather gets a bit sloppy. A more modern solid, non-leather, variation would be great. Light, thin plastic and positive slots for the stand would be much better.
Pros: 360 degree swivel
Cons: doesn't stay in stand when being used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
