tested replacement product does not work.

Bought the first cover which they admit the iPad cover lock/unlock does not work. after contacting the company they said keep the defective one and in 6 to 8 weeks they would send a new tested one. Just received the new tested one and inserted my iPad to try it out but now the lock/unlock is too sensitive and clicks on and off all the time. This will run your power down real quick. If you close it and don't move it you might be ok, but who is going to do that? a big don't buy.
Pros: great looking case, swivel works ok, good quality
Cons: cover lock/unlock does not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Best Yet

This is the best case that I have found for my iPad. Protects it from serious damage. I love the versatility and the executive look and feel. The only thing is that I wish the stylus holder was on the inside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won't stand

As with other reviews, the most frustrating aspect of the cover is the fact that the grooves are not deep enough to keep the iPad standing.
Pros: nice look and feel
Cons: shallow channels
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Real Protection in a relatively thin format.

It is the best for thin but complete protection. It also acts as a stand to stand it up vertically or horizontally in two different configurations. Unlike many of the other cases, it really offers protection if you drop the iPad from a significant height. This is real protection not just cosmetic protection, while keeping things relatively thin. I am very happy with it. It is definitely the best iPad case out there.

Really like this case, easily accessible, easy to change positions and protects the ipad quite well. Would buy another for my wife, but she wants something other than basic black.
Pros: really handy
Cons: need other colors!

Excellent, but needs a place to carry the stylus

Well made, strong, good tactile feeling, fits well and looks good. I switched from the original Apple cover. Although that one was nice, it made it hard to get a good grip on the iPad. Plus it felt like the magnets could lose their grip and I always worried that it was going to slip out of my hands and crash on the floor at any moment. That is not at all the case with this one. It is easy to grasp and it is not likely to slip out of your hand. Even if it did, it is very protective and strong. In fact, my grandaughter dropped my iPad from the second floor and the case protected it perfectly.
But if has a couple of things that it could improve:
1) It has no place to carry the stylus. I use the iPad at meetings to take notes and the stylus is critical for that. Unless I have a shirt with a pocket, I have no place to carry the stylus.
2) I miss the magnetic activation of the original iPad cover. I wish they had incorporated that into this model.
Other than these two things, I strongly recommend it.
Pros: mostly everything, strong, looks good
Cons: no place to carry stylus, no magnetic activation

Great Product for students: durable and usable

I'm a full time student, so my iPad 2 goes almost everywhere with me. This has has worked out great. I let my mom borrow it for a day and she dropped it twice, yet the case was sturdy enough to protect the iPad. Considering how much my iPad was, I had to have a case to protect it and this does just that. There are a few issue with the iPad falling down when in landscape. These usually stem from it not sitting down flat or from a good sized bump on the table as someone gets up. As a student, I use both portrait and landscape everyday. This case is worth it.
Pros: sturdy, multiple viewing angles, holds the ipad 2 well
Cons: uses elastic

design perfection

this is the best design ever! love the 360 roation, full screen access, interior blue suede, apple window on back, etc. LOVE!... more color options would be nice. that is the ONLY fault with this product.
