1qt only holds 3 cups

I was SO excited to own this product and my husband bought me two of the 3.5 and one of the 2 one quart systems for my birthday. I constantly entertain. We have to provide food for tennis almost every weekend and outlets are scarce. This seemed like the solution. When I pulled the one quart crock pot out of the box, I realized that it looked smaller than my other 1 quart slow cooker. I measured the capacity and it only holds 3 cups of water if you fill it to the line and put the lid on. Where do they get off labeling this as a one quart crock pot??? Also, not stackable as stated and who has the storage for all of these crock pots? So disappointed. Such a fantastic idea that was horribly executed. It is as if the people that designed these have never actually hosted a party in their lives. I am scared to even see how small the 3.5 quart crock pot really is. I will be returning this.

Cons: does not hold stated capacity, not really stackable, sizes not suited for entertaining crowds

The mold for the stoneware is one quart. The stoneware can shrink a little when the mold is created. To stack your units, place the smallest on the bottom and larger as you stack. I am so pleased with this system! This item lets me serve two smaller entrees, sauces, or side dishes. It looks great, very coordinated and uses just one outlet when plugged into other units. Also, I don't have to worry about our odd eating times if we can't sit down to eat together!

This product is wonderful. You do not have to use canned heat to keep your food warm and can do several things while still preparing food. LOVE IT!!!!!!

Received this as a Christmas gift and used it already on New Years Eve. They looked great and worked great. This time I used them for appetizers. .I plan on adding more to my set of 2 soon.
Pros: 1 plug can be used for up to 6 units., easy to clean., stores nicely.

crock pot hookups

I received the double set of hookups. I prepare several large gathering throughout the yr. I used these on my New Year's eve buffett, worked great. The space saving aspect, hooking togetherrequiring only one outlet per 6 units is so nice. I use crock pot bags making clean up a breeze. I like mine so well I am purchasing more. These will certianly get plenty of use in my home for years to come. High recommend hookups.
Pros: space saving one outlet required., very attractive on yout buffett., stackable
Cons: one cord in a primary unit should have longer cord

Perfect for my need!

I am a chef and do a lot of product demos. I needed something to keep food warm but not take up a lot of space. Previously I was taking a portable oven with me everywhere and that was bulky, heavy and dominated my demo table. This product was the perfect solution!
Pros: compact lightweight and attractive
Cons: takes a while to warm up
