Worst Phone I Have Ever Owned

I bought this phone about 2 years ago, and I loved it...for the first 2 months. Almost 2 months from the day I bought the phone, it stopped working properly. Call quality was horrible after this point. I would make a call and not hear anything for almost a full minute after I placed the call--all the while, the person I was calling could hear everything that was going on on my end of the call. You could imagine how well that worked the time I had to call 9-1-1 from the phone.
At first I thought it was an issue with my specific phone, but after receiving a replacement from the warranty department the same thing happened within 3 months.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is a really cool phone...but it was shown as a touchscreen phone...but it isnt...really. the only things you can use the touchscreen for is dialing and searching for contacts...but for what you can use the touchscreen for it is very resposive and i dont know what these other people are talking about with the slow responsiveness it is working great for me...except when i try to edit photos it will turn off randomly...but other than that i love it
Pros: easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
Cons: Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best for Part-Time Use

For my youngest two (9 and 12) who share the Neon, it's perfect. They can easily navigate the phone's tools and love the camera for snapping photos of their daily adventures. It's trendy-looking and durable.
For my 20 year old and myself, the Neon is not the best phone. We must frequently clear out the message folders and I have learned that entering ONLY necessary info for each of your contacts is best as well. The problem is that when the phone gets too "full" or "busy" with calls, texts and information, it slows WAY down. It doesn't "lock-up" as much as it really just needs time to "catch-up." Also, a full, busy phone tends to drop (or simply not connect) calls.
I would not recommend this phone for anyone who needs to use it as an address book, or anyone who texts a lot. I was disappointed. We LOVED the LG Shine, so I had high expectations for this phone. I think it needs a faster processor.
Pros: easy to use, Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Neon GT365 White

At first I was very happy with this phone, alas nearly two years later I have had to exchange this phone 3 times and still have the same problems I had with the first one.
The phone will turn off without any reason. I thought maybe I was sliding it shut too hard but then in the middle of a text message it suddenly turned off.
The QWERTY is messed up in that the 'function' function will suddenly go in and out in the middle of typing. The L will leave a space so the word 'fully' will look like 'fu y' and the cursor will start jumping around and next thing my message will be completely jumbled and make no sense. It's especially irritating when it's a long message.
Phone Calls and checking and receiving my voicemail are just as frustrating. When I make or receive phone calls, the first 5-7 seconds are always no reception until it kicks in. I have been told this is my service, but all the other phones we have don't do this and it has occured with EVERY neon 365 phone I have used. My voicemail does the same thing when I receive it and the actual recorded message is usually missing the beginning.
As I said before, I was please with the phone when I started out and I liked it a lot, so it saddens me to give this phone a bad rating but I don't think it's even sold anymore. I can't wait to upgrade but I don't know that I will be using LG in the future for the phones. I do like the other electronics I have of LG. Computer screens, dvd players, all very satisfactory.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a disappointment!

My bf and I both got one and we have the SAME problems AND Both are replacements for "defective" ones. We even had new sim cards put in them ONLY to find the same problems exist. We have to shut our phones off sometimes just to get sound or else our phones won't ring.Sometimes if we shut our phones it will shut off automatically. OFTEN times if we send texts it will shut off after we hit send and we lose whatever we wrote OR it wont send and if we hit "resend" it will auto shut off. IF you want to have to check your phone constantly to make sure its still on...or enmjoy a phone that auto shuts off randomely because you find it exciting...this is the phone for you... I am utterly unhappy and stuck with the phone for a few years until I can upgrade on my account.

I've had this phone for a couple of months, and i have to say its pretty worth it. The keyboard is the perfect size and i use the music player all the time. However, the fact that the touch screen is only for typing in phone numbers was a real letdown.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, texting

Waste of money

I got the Aqua Neon several months ago and was disappointed from the moment I opened the box. First off, it looks nothing like the photo color-wise. What they show as blue is actually silver, the only blue is the lights of the keys. From reading the description, I believed the phone was touch screen. Ha! Oh it has a touch screen number pad, enough to say it has touch screen, but it certainly wasn't what I thought it would be.
I have had to replace the battery once already, the phone randomly turns itself off, has a tendency to play ringtones while in silent for no reason (I discovered this in the middle of class), and the speaker is horrible! Most of the time the speaker will not start working during a phone call until the other person has answered. I can't tell you how many times I've been hung up on because the person I was calling said "Hello" about twenty times before finally giving up, and I'd never heard a word. My mother also got the same phone and has all the exact same problems, so I know it's not just mine.
Overall I was seriously disappointed. I've switched back to my old LG phone and am counting the days to contract renewal time so I can get a new one.
Don't waste your time or money.
