Won't get cold......

Had this 30 cu. ft. side by side for a little over a month now, tempature in refrigerator side won't go below 40 degrees no matter where its set.
Had serviceman here four times ( two to look, two to replace parts,(had to order parts), total of four service calls. They replaced the evaporator fan, main board and several sensors ! Had to remove food from the refrigerator so they could get to parts. Not fun!
It still won't go below 40 degrees even though it is set at 34.

Has many design flaws, lights look great until you put food in, need flash light to see what's in the freezer, lights in the back don't illuminate the food in the front of freezer at all. Same with the refrigerator side. Lights should have been at the top.
All drawers, which are at the bottom, pull out from the bottom, the normal tendancy is to open them from the top.

Limited shelf adjustment, no room for tall bottles (even a 12 ounce beer bottle, unless you take out the wine rack. All tall items must be stored in the door.
No adjustment for door shelves, takes two hands to work butter/dairy compartment , lid won't stay up by itself. No place for eggs. No butter dish included.

This is a huge refrigerator, weighs ove 300lbs. but only has one wheel in the center for movability, almost inpossible to move away from the wall, service man had to lift front end up by the doors to get it to clear a 1/16" floor protector.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor design, can't move it, poor lighting

IMO: The ice maker does not make ice or work correctly. I have had repair out several times with different reasons as to why the ice maker doesn't make ice or inadequate ice. It still doesn't work.

Samsung Side by Side RSG307 great buy

We previously had a french style 3 door - but we replaced it with a 30sq ft side by side. It offers as much space and we don't have to worry about 2 doors opening and closing every time we use it. Also freezer is easier to work wit than a single low door. It looks great and works great. The only con is the lighting - it could be brighter.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: lighting

Best Refrigerator In 40 Years!

The Samsung does an incredible job of keeping fruits and vegetables fresh, and freezer burn is non-existent. The LED lighting is excellent. This is the quietest unit I have ever experienced. Freezer capacity is just right for the overall size of the refrigerator. Water tastes crisp and clean and ice cubes are crystal clear. The super cooling feature is great to use after restocking from the grocery store. After install, it only took the refrigerator 3 hours to reach 38 degrees, and four hours for the freezer to reach -4 degrees. There are two issues, and two disappointments. Although it makes ice quickly, it does not hold enough ice for a dinner party of eight people - make some in advance and store it. Second, the water filter barely lasts two months and is relatively expensive - I will be adding an external one to stretch out its life. A bit disappointing is finding enough places to store tall items in the refrigerator side - they could use another shelf in the door. This refrigerator is 300 pounds empty and needs better wheels to allow it to roll out easier to clean behind. Those things aside, I still wouldn't have any other refrigerator than this Samsung.
Pros: Bright display, keeps food fresh, well lit interior, easy to clean exterior, easy to replace filter, fast ice maker, quiet operation
Cons: small ice container, short filter life, heavy-hard to move

Great product but the drawers are a little quirky

Overall I love this refrigerator, but the bins are a little quirky. The openings look like they are on top but the pull is on the bottom. Everyone who uses our appliance always laughs and then says how strange it looks like it is on top but you open from the bottom. Also the door bins would be awesome if they were adjustable due to the short size of the shelves, it is often hard to put large items throughout the fridge. No worries it is still a great refrigerator, it would just be awesome if a few shelves and door bins were adjustable. I would have thought a refrigerator that large would have been easy to get items in and out of. Thank you for your time!
