my wife and i have a side by side ge refrigerator for over 12 years. which we were very happy with. It now shows signs of wear. we could repair it, or should a replacement make more sense. we decided to look at what is available in todays market. much to our surprise, we came across a ge refrigrator that not only matched the model we have, but had upraded many of the features that we loved. needless tosay, webought it. you are now looking at two happy people. wh feel that we made one of the best buys in our lives. thaank you ge for being an american company, that makes a superior produt, by american workers.

CHEAPENED COMPARE TO OLD MODEL

Loved this fridge. Unfortunately it broke down & we replaced it with what we thought was the same but newer model (GSE25GGPHC). Not all happy! The new one, even tho they say specs are the same it doesn't seem so, it seems smaller & doesn't hold as much. They left out one crisper (top one) that I used extensively. They put less shelves in the freezer. I wish I had known I could buy the exact one I had. I also wish GE would make good and switch out this one for the good one like I previously had. Very disappointed in the new one and all my appliances are GE because I have trusted them to be good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
