In desperate need of an app update

The tv works very good, as it should, but the apps that are installed haven't been updated since the firmware update March 2015. Facebook no longer works as well as some of the Cloud TV apps. Target's app is still listed, but they've been closed for over a year. It would be great if Philips gave this model some love and issued an update with just new apps or in the case of Facebook, just update it so that it works. Otherwise the TV portion of this smart tv needs no updates, because like I said, that part works very well.
Pros: picture quality, ease of use, autosizing
Cons: no app store, the installed apps need help
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very easy to set up, works well with my Phillips Home Theatre System. Good Price Too.
Pros: easy to setup, all the bells ans whistles
Cons: picture fair

Just got the TV, still trying to get use to it. I'm looking for more apps to download. I would recommend this product.

Great quality tv

The TV performed great, quality picture and sound. There is a USB option but it is hit and miss on playing the movies. I also can't get it to play movies from my network. I over look these do to the picture and ease of use. I would and do recommend this TV.
Pros: great picture, very affordable, low power consumtion
Cons: usb very picky, can't play movies from my network

I dont used to much this tv , I work all the time so is not by time of used. I was in netflix washing a movie a turn off and then smell like burn , to bad a was very happy whot my tv :\

Stopped working after 3 yrs

Bought this TV 3 years ago as it had the Smart TV (wireless, HDMI, etc) I wanted.
Three years later it won't turn on. Quick google search of the issue shows this is common in Phillips Smart TVs. The capacitors will need to be replaced.
For the price I expected the TV to last more then 3 years before needing to pay for major repairs that are half the original price I paid for the TV new.
Pros: easy to setup
Cons: brakes after only 3 years without heavy use
