Do Not Buy This One

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compressor makes loud thumping noises. When door is changed to a left side hinge the left bottom adjustible leg on that side takes two people with tools to adjust. A neighbor in my building bought a similar model and it makes the same noises. GE did not compensate me to my satisfaction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My electric bill did go down after purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My electric bill did go down after purchase. I checked it for two months. However, it makes all sorts of noises, besides those associated with a refrigerator. It sort of sighs and almost makes animal sounds. And it seems to make them for longer duration than my old refrigerator.

Just what we were looking for.

I love the extra space on the doors and with the wire shelves you can see everything at a glance. We were so happy that when our main fridge broke we went shopping for another GE. Now both are working great.

Perfect 2nd refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in January 2012 to replace an over 20 year old G.E. that was in my garage. This is a great 2nd refrigerator. No bells or whistles but keeps food cold and frozen foods frozen. I don't hear loud noises because the refrigerator is in the garage.

I am very happy how this refrigerator has performed. I have had no problems and my energy bill went down noticably as soon as I started using it. Given the price I paid, I find it a great value.

Lots of Space for a Smaller Frig

Have a small space in my kitchen so needed a smaller frig that would fit it. Found this GE model. It has been wonderful! I had a problem with the dial, but after watching a video, I was able to correct the problem myself. I totally envisioned having to have a repairman, but it was so simple, I feel confident that if anything goes wrong, I can easily order the part and fix it myself.
