Love the griddle but drip tray broke so easily!

I've had mine over 2 years and stored it in the original box. Out of all the times I used it, it only took one time removing it from the box and the drip tray slid out of place, fell on the floor and broke into 3 pieces :(. I too tried to remedy myself by using gorilla glue and after one use it failed miserably leaking grease all over the place. I came to this website to find a replacement part only to see several complaints about the drip tray breaking. It seems like such a waste to buy an entirely new griddle over a broken drip tray. Other than the drip tray breaking so easily, I do recommend this product.

The griddle itself cooks well and is easy to clean. however, upon lifting into my cabinet - after its initial use, the drip tray fell onto the floor and broke. I read a similar review stating another user had the same problem. I attempted to super glue it to fix, but am not pleased that there is no way for this tray to 'click' into place. Anyone in our home (besides myself) who uses this will experience the same result. I will have to spend additional money to make this whole again, knowing that its going to break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is such a price friendly alternative to some of the other products out on the market. I love how fast my food cooks and how well it holds temperature.

Love my electric griddle

I received this griddle for Christmas and I love it! However, the drip pan fell - hit the floor and broke the first time i used it! I need a replacement part...but why should I have to pay for a replacement tray if it is poorly crafted?! help!!!

Good Size for Feeding Teenage Boys

The griddle is great for high volume family cooking. I feed three teenage boys and the pancakes cook fast enough to keep up. The one bad thing is the drip tray. :( It doesn't latch in and slides out too easily. Last night my son was putting the griddle away and the tray fell to the floor and broke. No Saturday morning sausage this week. Boo!!! I wish the tray could be more secure.

I love the griddle, but fragile drip tray broke

I love the griddle--I got it from the store the day before I was set to have a large number of people over for brunch. However, only the second time I used it I dropped the drip tray onto my linoleum kitchen floor and it shattered. I would like a replacement. Please tell me how I can get one. Thanks!

I received this a month ago at my bridal shower and upon pulling it out of the box to use the drip tray fell right out and broke. never even got to use it before it broke.
