The box the griddle comes in and also advertising say this griddle has fully immersible base without probe, yet, the enclosed instruction booklet instructs not to immerse base. Conflicting!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for Large Needs

My family loves this griddle. However, I couldn't give it 5 stars, as we've had the same issue as others have. The drip tray kept falling out. Luckily, the first two times we caught it. Yet, the third time was the charm as it fell and broke after it hit the floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE THE GRIDDLE!!

Great Griddle, Not So Great Drip Tray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this griddle! Cooks evenly and is easy to clean. My only complaint is the drip tray. As the other reviews have stated, it comes out easily. Mine has already cracked. I would like to purchase another one. How can I replace it? The model is the same as the others, GD2011B. Thank you!

Not as big and uneven heating burns food

I've used a Black & Decker griddle for 12 years without any problems. I dropped it recently and had to purchase a new one. The newer family sized electric griddle is a littler smaller but that's not the big issue. It BURNS everything. The only time it doesn't burn things is when I heat it up and turn it off. The heating element burns a line into everything I'm cooking on it. I have wasted 3 batches of pancakes because of this. I am highly disappointed in this product. Not up to Black & Decker standards.

Does not heat up

After researching several griddles, wanted one that would heat up to have pancakes cook immediately instead of being on it for several minutes. This griddle did not do that. Therefore very disappointing and still looking for one that will heat up and have even heat distribution to cook pancakes fast like my old West Bend that was discontinued. It was great!

Always available, always easy

Its easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. I can cook a lot at once so no kids waiting for their turn and second helpings are ready before they have the chance to say "more please". Its also light weight but very sturdy. I am happy with this product. It was a good purchase. Thank you ;)

Poor quality

We received this product as a wedding gift. After using it a few times it would not heat up. The plug looked like something inside wasn't connecting. A poor product.
