I love it!

I'm about to buy my 3rd in 10 yrs. I love it and have only been replacing them because either k cups are getting thicker or the blade that pokes the hole is getting dull. Either way, some kcups just won't work. I usually use grounds anyway but I love the versatility -- i like to grind my beans but use kcups on occasion just to try other brands. Each machine has lasted at least 5 yrs before I've had the cutter issue and for the price I really don't care. I save the little filter basket for a spare and toss the rest. I wish there were different colors to choose from but that's not a deal breaker. Great little brewer for the person who doesn't need a whole pot each morning!

I love this little machine

This machine is great! I don't have to waste money on little cups required for most single serve brewers and I don't make unnecessary waste for the environment.It makes a great cup of coffee, and I can make a stronger or weaker cup by using more or less coffee. I have had this machine for -- I don't know how long, a long time. It's an excellent return on investment. It fits most of the mugs I have at home perfectly.
Constructive criticism:
1. The travel mug it comes with is cheap and not spillproof. The machine does fit a Contigo Byron (16oz) mug perfectly.
2. I have a little silicone funnel sitting on top of the coffee so that I can pour my water into the back of the machine neatly from my mug. It's probably much easier to fill from the sink, but I wonder if it could be made easier to get the water inside the machine.
3. Can this thing come in some vanity colours please? A white? A red? a blue? All of the other single serve machines are doing it.

Bring back the perfect DCM 18!

I'll cut right to the chase: this one leaves a lot to be desired. The DCM 18 had it right; left very little water in the receptacle (after brewing); didn't have to "snap" the lid into place (all you had to do was set it down); and finally, you didn't have to be overly cautious that you might spill the water when pouring (as there is plenty of room in the DCM 18). Please bring back the DCM 18, or re-engineer the newer design. Thank you.

My favorite morning coffeemaker!

I've been using this coffeemaker for over 15 years and it's still brewing a great cup of coffee.
I bought a new one...still in the sealed box...kept it for nearly 10 years...never needed to replace my original one///so, I donated it to Goodwill. Wish I had kept it!
This morning I de-scaled it because it stopped brewing a full cup of coffee. After de-scaling...it was perfect, again...enjoyed a great 'full' cup of coffee.
I LOVE IT! I hope it lasts me till I die...I'm 77 years old now...cross my fingers...hope to live.

Defective right out of the box

Just arrived today and when I tried it it only stayed on for 30 seconds and brewed less than an ounce of water before turning off and stopping. Sending back immediately.

Bad Choice

I bought this coffee maker twice. Both units lasted less than a year. The unit stops brewing abruptly and you have to keep pushing the button to get a full cup. Save your money and buy something else.
