...until I have to travel to the 220/240V environment.
Please create a dual voltage coffee maker. Then then the B&D SSCM will never leave my suit case. Until then, I must suffer inferior substitutes.

Love the machine, but need help!

The filter that comes with the product got mold on it/within the mesh because of my roommate leaving coffee grounds in it for over 2 weeks when I was out of town. Is there a way to get a replacement filter?

Doesn't brew!!!

Bought this a few days ago and it takes more than half an hour to brew the coffee. It keeps stopping and only a very thin stream of liquid is coming out. Ridiculous. Is it a faulty item? Should I get it replaced?

what kind of pods

I live in Canada and so far havent been able to find any pods to work so I just use regular coffee. Might as well make a whole pot.

So happy with the product until it just stopped working one day. Not a long term thing. Good for shy of 2 years. Will not purchase another one again.

Had the old model for many years, recommended it to several friends who are thrilled and also bought more than one for my college-bound grandchildren.
Now it finally stopped working -- after many years, so I am going to purchase the new model. I'm certain it will be just as reliable.

Instructions

Coffee grounds, water, power, and a cup. The instructions should be a 1, 2, and 3. Trial #1. A cup full of water and a filter full of saturated coffee grounds. Never saw the power light on at any time. Burn a few cds at a nominal cost and idiot proof this process.
